Key Responsibilities

• Design new software components plus re-architect and adapt existing software components for cloud operability
• Participate in all aspects of the solution development lifecycle: design, development, test, and maintain
• Participate in Oracle’s agile development and continuous development integration pipelines to deliver quality software components at a quick pace
• Work collaboratively with various Oracle product development teams on inter-system integrations
• Duties and tasks will be varied and complex requiring independent judgment
• Provide production level support for delivered solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (or above) in Computer Science or equivalent, with a solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented concepts and design
• 5+ years of solid programming experience in Java/J2EE multi-threaded server applications
• Solid grasp on server clustering concepts for high availability environments
• Experience working with Linux environments, Oracle database, HTTP/REST services
• Ability to work independently within a development team that is distributed around the globe. 
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Secondary Qualifications

• Experience with WebLogic application server.
• Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of JavaScript web based client application architectures
• Development experience with enterprise and web content management systems

The OCM development team is looking for accomplished software engineers to contribute to the expansion of OCM’s strong web presentation capabilities with enhanced document management capabilities.   These new cloud service capabilities will be at the forefront of Oracle’s content management product portfolio.  They must be reliable enough to run continuously, performant enough to handle the high volumes of multi-tenant cloud deployments, and capable enough to manage vast quantities of content for some of the largest enterprises in the world.
