Senior Clinical Consultant (Licensed Pharmacy Researcher)

As a Licensed Pharmacy Researcher, you will work as part of a team to create and review Dutch clinical drug content for Oracle Health clients in Belgium.

 

Responsibilities:

•Transform drug data into clinical knowledge for use in Millennium applications

•Interpret and analyze medical literature to create clinical content

•Leverage internal editorial tools for the creation of content

• At least 5 years experience in clinical pharmacy
• Knowledge of hospital information systems and clinical medication workflows
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements around clinical medication practices
• Fluent in English and Dutch, and preferably speak other languages such as Spanish, French or Swedish.

Responsible for driving the client through the design of clinical and business processes, solution and technology workflow, and successful adoption that will lead to achieved value. Manage ongoing relationships with clients, providing account management and clinical subject matter expertise focusing on client success in utilizing Oracle's solutions. Through the use of Oracle's implementation approach and methodology, the Consultant will assist in change management, help identify opportunities for improvement, and is accountable for achieving the project’s targeted outcomes.

Intermediate-level position that acts as a liaison between the clinical and IT departments, leveraging clinical knowledge specific to a domain expertise (Healthcare, informatics, clinical) to provide innovative solutions. Responsible for applying statistical, research, clinical theories and methods to solve new and unique problems. As a member of the team, exercises judgement within defined procedures to evaluate and analyze data, develop analysis and studies and provide new product offering and innovations to external customer engagements. Work involves using analytical skills sufficient to interpret data/ instructions with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying the relevant customer standards with some autonomy. May perform other duties as assigned. Receives general instruction on new projects or assignments. Must have solid knowledge in reference to regulations and standard operating procedures. Strong understanding of healthcare strategy, operations, and ability to adjust to changing industry regulatory requirement

Bachelors or Advanced degree in a discipline relevant to area of focus, plus 2 year related work experience. Minimum Qualifications: At least 6 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher. education, including: At least 1 year of licensed health care practice, clinical consulting and/or other clinical healthcare information technology (HCIT) work experience Degree in respective clinical expertise (Nursing, Pharmacy, Clinical Studies, Informatics, Health Care or related field. Certification required based on area of focus: Registered Nurse - State Board, Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) - Pharmacy Technician, Certification Board or Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) - American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management, Certified Exercise Physiologist - State Board, Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist - State Board. Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position. Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations. Depending on the job there may be additional minimum requirements and/or preferred qualifications.
