Job Duties and Responsibilities-Home Interior Designer

• Work closely with the architects, external designer and project owner to determine the goal for project;
• Explore & estimate client’s requirements on materials, finishing, costs, and formulate interior design & proposal to client for approval.
• Create design proposal by integratingsolution for kitchen, furniture and bath hardware carried by Megahome with proper interior décor concept;
• Collaborate with internal draftsman to rendering drawings based on product sales manual, service guideline and requirements from project owner and clients;
• Collaborate with external architects, builder, mechanical and structural engineers, and other members of the project team to create and implement a design plan;
• Create preliminary design schemes, either by hand-sketching or computer-aided design (CAD)
• Finalize proposal onrelated materials for specifications including materials and furnishings to be used, such as flooring, kitchen, furniture, bath, lighting, fixtures, and wall finishes
• Finalize plans by using CAD applications to varying degrees of detail as required by the project, including design plans, floor plans, plumbing &electrical layouts, and information needed for building permits
• Co-work with distribution BD team to support regional dealer on showroom planning and interior design.
• Organize a project timeline and estimates for costs;
• Submit the proposal and to obtain client approval for interior design plan and cost estimate;
• Oversee and participate the process of installation for related design elements with project construction team;
• Debrief with client after project completion to ensure that goals were met and the project was done to the customer’s satisfaction

Requirements and Qualifications- Home Interior Designer

• Superior artistic and creative ability
• Solid background with 5-8 years working experience as an creative interior designer;
• Preferably with overseas background in related area;
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and an aptitude for visualization
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to clearly communicate a vision to non-design-oriented people
• A proven history of sustainable interior design work is a plus
• Portfolio showcasing specialized design services is a plus;

• With professional knowledge of Kitchen, system furniture, wall system, lighting , bath & sanitary would be a plus;
