Zone Intracardiac Echocardiography Clinical Director (ZICD) - Job Description-2020 Revision The Zone Intracardiac Echocardiography Clinical Director (ZCD) is directly responsible for management and leadership of the Ultrasound ICE Catheter Clinical Specialists within multiple zones. This role’s primary focus will have leadership objectives as well as player / coach responsibilities. Reports directly to Vice President of Global Sales, Intracardiac Imaging Catheters. The Zone ICE Clinical Director (ZICD) Responsibilities include: · ZICD plans and leads the overall operation of the Ultrasound ICE Catheter Clinical Specialists to ensure achievement of clinical goals and business targets through ensuring strong clinical support and strategic procedural planning. · Conducts regular visits to customers to collaborate on ICE procedural objectives and obtain feedback on clinical efficacy. · Responsible for the facilitation of internal training to maintain a high level of clinical competency and knowledge among the Ultrasound ICE Catheter Clinical Specialists. · Consults on the planning and implementing of effective external education and training programs. · This position is required to have and maintain market expertise and knowledge of the competition. · Demonstrates ability to counter any objections, provide competitive intelligence and speak knowledgeably regarding differences in system utilizing a positive approach. · Required skills to manage and drive successful ICE procedure support, product demonstrations and customer trainings by active onsite participation where necessary. · Directs and coach’s Ultrasound ICE Catheter Clinical Specialists by providing feedback in order to create a high performing team by continuous development of the team’s clinical and sales skills. · Responsible for overseeing Ultrasound ICE Catheter Clinical Specialists to ensure they adhere to Siemens Healthineers policies and procedures. · Strong leadership skills to in order to provide work direction, motivation and performance management. · Facilitate resource management with Vice President of Global Sales, Intracardiac Imaging Catheters and Zone Sales Executives, to ensure maximum efficiency of Siemens Healthineers investment in resources. · Required to drive employee development and continuing education for all direct reports to remain continuously competitive to advance Siemens Healthineers Ultrasound in the market. · The ZICD is responsible to identify and foster relationships with KOL’s to internally represent the voice of the clinician and quickly respond to customer needs or concerns. · ZICD collaborates closely with other members of the Ultrasound Organization on development and implementation of clinical solutions.
