Job Description & Responsibilities: 

We are a growing company with a friendly team environment, and need a writer/product developer to help write and develop new Chinese materials and other in-classroom support materials. These learning tools are designed to be user friendly and engaging allowing each student to follow their individual learning journey, and improving proficiency outcomes.

• Writing creative stories and other supplementary materials for students who are learning Chinese as a second language
• Editing existing materials
• Working closely with Graphic Design and IT departments to ensure that all products are of the highest standard
• 20 days annual leave, 5 day working week

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Linguistics, Teaching Chinese as a Secondary Language, or related disciplines
• Excellent Chinese and English writing and speaking skills
• Can read and understand both simplified and traditional Chinese with an understanding of Pinyin
• High level of attention to detail
• Experience in early childhood education is desirable but not a must
