As a Web Developer Engineer at Pixelmatic, you will be an important member of the technical team, working closely together. You will participate to the development, publication and maintenance of the websites that are under current development in our Shanghai office.

Responsibilities

Coding front-end logic for new features and updates for our websites.

Build, test and publish the websites.

Design and develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable front-end systems.

Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize for scalability, efficiency, and maintainability in the most cost effective and practical way.

Maintain and improve internal tools and build process.

Writing clean and well-commented code.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.

Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.

Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks.

Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.

Strong knowledge of either Angular, React, Vue or any similar framework.

Experience with REST Web Services consumption.

Proficient with Linux and shell scripting.

Familiar with SEO and websites optimization.

Familiar with Docker and Docker Compose is a strong plus.

Able to find simple and elegant solutions to address complex problems.

Able to learn different technologies and programming languages quickly.

Always learning and able to quickly adapt to new situations and challenges.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and/or Chinese.

Extremely well organized, detail oriented, and manages time efficiency.

Familiar with standard office software (mail, spreadsheets, documents, and presentations).

对于服务器端的css预处理器有一定的了解，如LESS 和SASS有使用REST Web Services 的经验

熟练掌握Angular, React, Vue 或其他类似框架并有深入了解

熟练使用Liunx平台以及shell脚本

熟悉SEO以及网页性能优化。

可以针对复杂的问题给出简洁且巧妙的解决方法。

能迅速学习并掌握不同的技术和程序语言。

有较强的中文和英语的口头表达能力和书写能力。
