• You will work closely with a team of engineers to implement a waste water treatment system for a production system, based on the results of an existing prototype.
• The system involves adsorption of waste air from painting processes.
• On daily basis you need to monitor, analyze and improve the water quality, and give solutions for system improvements whenever needed.
• You will have an important role in the design of a sustainable waste water system and the selection of the components.
• You will also support R&D team to monitor and improve the prototype and current production system.
• There will be meetings and communication with the project team on daily basis.
• Attend or arrange meetings with engineering team and suppliers when needed.

Besides this project, you could be involved in other tasks, assigned by engineering manager.

• Bachelor or Master of Environmental or Chemical engineering, major in industrial waste water engineering is preferred.
• Relevant working experience in industrial waste water monitoring and treatment.
• Manage site construction, installation and waste water system start-ups.
• Experience with industrial systems R&D (DOE), and system development life cycle (SDLC) is a plus.
• Good CAD knowledge, be able to understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Strong computer skills in the following areas:

o AutoCAD, Solidworks and/or other design software.

o Very good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Good functional understanding and calibration of a variety of electronic instruments used to measure and control variables such as pH, ORP, conductivity, concentrations, pressure, flow, temperature, and level.

• Fluent Chinese and English language skills, both oral and written.
• Creative and open minded (out-of-the-box thinking) about innovative and sustainable solutions in a circular economy.
• Must have a strong sense of responsibility towards environmental care.

• Strong leadership and technical knowledge.
• Mature personality, positive thinking and a team player.
• Flexible and hardworking attitude, willing to work overtime if required.
