Job Purpose:

To work with all members of the in-store visual team to implement agreed merchandise changes to the windows and in-store highlights in order to create a feeling of excitement and newness for the customer.

Key Accountabilities:

In addition to following Pedder Group’s policies and procedures, key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Implementation

• To perform all visual duties within the store including promotions from concept to final execution
• To work under the supervision and guidance of the Visual Merchandiser Supervisor/ Senior Visual Merchandiser to ensure that all VM plans are implemented on time providing exceptional presentation of all product
• To work with the store teams to regularly review and change the visual store presentation to make it exciting and different for the customer, whilst supporting the strategic direction
• To ensure that the quality of work is consistent and reaches an international standard with a high level of creativity and flair
• To upkeep the maintenance of all visual tools and mannequins to ensure smooth and timely implementation

Communication

• To communicate on a regular basis with Visual Merchandiser Supervisor/ Senior Visual Merchandiser all visual actions and requests from store operations
• To communicate regularly with the Visual Merchandiser Supervisor/Senior Visual Merchandiser on all visual projects proactively highlighting any issues and concerns at store level
• To meet with the store teams and seek feedback on current initiatives and VM activities and feedback to the appropriate people
• To contribute creative ideas and suggestions for all departments concerning visual displays and projects assigned, and present in an organized manner.
• To assist with visual support on all store and office events and promotions as requested

Sourcing

• To identify suitable vendors for in-store VM activities and prepare quotes and concurrence for agreed work
• To manage the vendor relationship and ensure that all work is completed on time and to schedule

Requirements:

• Diploma holder in Art / Visual Merchandising Design or related disciplines with minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably from luxury brands
• Creative with good design sense
• Independent and able to work under pressure
• Knowledge in computer graphic and familiar with MS Office applications

• Good spoken and written English and conversational Putonghua
