Job Description & Responsibilities

As a visual effect designer in our team, you have a lots of opportunities to provide different design on application UI/UX, marketing materials and events. You need to:

• Generate clear ideas, concepts and designs of creative assets from beginning to end for UX design;
• Provide visual design for both still and animated visual effects - UI interaction, infographics, illustrations, animations, etc. in accordance with different project needs;
• Present strong layout design and illustration skills, prepare creative high-quality deliverables for multiple projects against the tight deadlines when preparing any UI design;
• Work independently or coordinate within team to plan and execute video production with 2D motion graphics, including writing scripts, creating storyboard, designing scenes and graphics, selecting music, video and soundtrack editing;
• Know the basic technical knowledge with audio and video equipment. Experience with video production is desirable. Assist with video shoots and editing when required;
• Communicate effectively and collaborate actively with other teams on deadlines and project details, provide professional advice, develop creative ideas and feasible plans;
• Willing to learn new things and stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools. Knowledge with any emerging technologies is a plus.

Requirements

• BSc degree in Design, Visual Arts or relevant qualification;
• Proven work experience as a Visual Designer, UI Designer or similar role;
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Mandarin;
• Strong in a diverse set of design software: Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), Sketch, etc.;
• Portfolio of relevant design work;
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus.
