Job Description
Responsibilities and Duties: This role requires monitoring underlying bond markets to identify opportunities for EU client issuance, determine investor demand and best pricing, covering clients and originating new issues. You will be an active member of the Debt Capital Markets team in Europe., The role requires coordination of marketing activities and executing public or private transactions with our global DCM business unit. You will also contribute to BOC EU DCM Centre with design and development of the core marketing strategy, including development of business plan, pitch books and relevant marketing material required. Key Deliverables of the Role: Demonstrated successful track record in bond origination and execution with proven years of experience;
Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, influencing and negotiating skills;
Experience working with syndicate team on all aspects of the deal life cycle, including book building, documentation, road show, pricing, execution and hedging;
Background in corporate finance or credit analysis or demonstrates an ability to understand and analyse client's business and financials
Team player with strong work ethic and growth mindset Requirements: Minimum Bachelor/University degrees in law, financial and economics or other related majors. Strong academic record, preferably with minimum of 5 year relevant professional experience. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Team-oriented, positive, professional, strong work ethic and able to handle multiple projects/assignments at same time.
Have a strong desire to learn with demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new situations.
The ability to perform effectively in an international team environment.
The ability to excel under pressure amid demanding deadlines.
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Fluent in English, other European languages and Mandarin may be added value.
