YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Translate business needs for strategic projects in formulation and packaging for Oral Solid Dosages (OSD) and SemiSolids into investment project proposals. Steering project plan and execution while optimizing capital expenditures regarding COGS and operating cost. In detail you:

• Lead the effort to channel business interest into defined projects for formulation and packaging operation in OSD and SemiSolids CHPS sites
• Review and clearly articulate the project idea and scope based on clear business needs
• Evaluate alternatives (inhouse or outsourcing) as well as identify the most viable solution
• Align with business, what is feasible at which costs and by when
• Steer the process to define project scope for basic engineering
• Be accountable for project targets such as cost and time as well as meeting of business objectives
• Be responsible for governance and oversight of capital project portfolio for assigned sites to meet yearly and quarterly financial targets and overall portfolio performance

WHO YOU ARE

• University degree in engineering and/or science
• Long-term professional job experience, experience abroad preferred
• Manufacturing and engineering experience incl. OSD of SemiSolids
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and conflicts
• Full comprehension of business case and project experience (e.g. major investment project)
• Ability to identify opportunities that benefit the customer and to achieve results even under tough circumstances
• Challenging attitude, result oriented as well as excellent social, communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, second language is preferred
