UX Designer • Work with other stakeholders defining UX concepts to make our products easy, efficient, and enjoyable to use - matching their world class functionality & quality • Apply UX best practices to MI concepts and design throughout the project lifecycle for timely definition and continuous feedback • Coach and influence others as needed to increase MI’s user centricity. Responsibilities • Successfully execute upon UX strategy (defined by UX Lead) through the broader organization • Meeting with developers to collect requirements and verify design feasibility • Researching UI design and development techniques to find innovative and elegant solutions to complex UI problems • Designing application user interfaces (including information architecture and interaction design) • Creating UI resources such as flows, wireframes, simple visuals and interactive prototypes • Producing design documents that explain your design to developers, and managing the implementation • Participating in user testing sessions and interviewing customers with relevant skills and responsibilities. Evaluating existing user experiences and identifying areas for improvement • Testing application UIs to ensure proper implementation, and filing bugs to track problems/discrepancies Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant area. •2-5 years of commercial experience in a relevant business and/or domain. • 2+ years’ experience as a UX Engineer or Designer. • Must be able to demonstrate proven outcomes in the area of UX Design. • Experience working in a regulated environment. • Experience working cross-functionally and cross-site, cross-country, and cross-business. • Experience of driving successful continuous improvement initiatives. • Clear evidence of self-driven continuous professional development, including current knowledge of UX methodologies and the ability to put them into practice.
