What you will be doing

AXA Design Hub's mission is to quickly turn new ideas into prototypes for evaluation, to foster innovative insurance solutions and to humanise customer experience. We help to prioritise work in a way that builds our service portfolio and looks holistically across the customer experience.

As the UX/UI Designer of our Design Hub team in Hong Kong, you will advocate for design driven project execution in a stimulating environment to unleash the potential of our business.

• design experiences through human-centred-design
• create wireframes (from sketches to high-fidelity)
• translate user stories/business requirements into user flows & wireframes
• design UI mock-ups, components and prototypes for mobile apps, web or other digital forms to validate design concepts with stakeholders and customers
• identify design problems and devise elegant solutions
• ensure design consistency within and between apps and websites
• develop pixel perfect UI
• conduct layout adjustment based on user feedback
• adhere to style and branding standards
• Be a great team player, experienced in working with agile teams.
• ability to collaborate closely with developers, business analyst and website managers

What we expect

We are looking for someone with creative visual design skills and thrives in a fast-paced working environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. Other than that, you should:

• fluent in Cantonese and English. (The ability to speak Putonghua, to read and write Chinese would be an advantage)
• minimum of 5 years relevant experience as a UX/UI designer or similar roles
• able to handle a Mac and the usual tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, Zeplin, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• conversant with cross-browser, as well as native and cross-platform mobile design best practice
• proven work portfolio
• experienced with Agile / iterative project management methodologies
• able to analyze complex problems, propose and implement exceptional solutions
• with strong sense of personal accountability
• a self-motivated team player who excels in a collaborative environment
• proactive, with a strong sense of personal accountability
• experience with the China market would be an advantage
• Knowledge or working experience in insurance related field is preferred.
