Our business

We are Information Service Group (ISG) Shanghai team, which is under Citigroup Institution Client Group (ICG). ISG Shanghai team is a research and development group, has more than 50 developers, majority are Java developers. This team develops applications to deliver authoritative and timely sources of reference data to Citigroup includes product, pricing, account and corporate action data etc.

Job Responsibilities

v Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts

• Define visual elements, product elements, and overall design

• Build wireframes and storyboards to conceptualize design

• Perform and implement user research for surveys and feedback

• Create and implement interaction models and user interface specifications

• Conduct user testing of applications, software, and websites

• Communicate with business and counterparts for the design requirements

• Work with engineering, frontend, and backend developers as needed

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Architecture, or related field

• With Financial knowledge or background is a plus

  
  

  Required Technical Skills

• Proven experience with UI design with portfolio of sample projects

• Have concept of responsive design and have experience with web UI design

• Experience with multiple visual design programs such as Photoshop or Illustrator

• Knowledgeable in wire-framing tools, storyboards, user flows, and site mapping

Optional Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum processes

• Understanding latest design and technology trends and their role in a commercial environment

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript programming skills

Required Non-Technical Skills

• Should have at least 2 years working experience in UI / UX or related position

• Artistic eye for design, user interaction, functionality, and readability

• Able to think creatively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

• Mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions

• Must have good written and verbal communication skills

• Must be comfortable participating in discussions and present ideas

• Be a highly motivated, self-starting individual willing to work in a dynamic work environment

• Work under pressure, manage conflicts and challenges
