Job Description
The Job
You will
- as a race-day Treasury Officer co-leading a team of 15-20 staffs, to manage the oncourse cash operations at the Club's two race tracks
- as a major contact point and co-supervisor for matters related to the funding arrangements and operation on raceday
- to estimate the level of cash floats required for both race tracks during race meetings
- to liaise with banks and security companies in cash delivery and collection
- to ensure a smooth racecourse operation
- to handle customers' enquiries relating to banking matters during race meetings
- to co-ordinate with the Club's stakeholders concerning raceday cash requirements, movements and reconciliation
- supervise other raceday duties including cash counting, verification, reconciliation and reporting for management with other users/departments of the Club
- staffing manpower between Cashier and Treasury Offices
- act as the supervisor of the operation of Cashier Office
- perform ad hoc treasury duties and administrative work related to the Club's core businesses
About You
You should have:
- a degree from a recognized university or equivalent educational qualifications
- minimum ten years related working experience in cash collection and disbursement operations, preferably gained from banking or sizable organisations
- a high standard of personal integrity
- a good communication skill and computer knowledge experience of cash and foreign notes exchange handling is a plus
To carry out the above-mentioned duties, the candidate is expected to attend all race meetings during the season
Terms of Employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
