iSoftStone is searching for our new Translation Project Manager to join the Worldwide Services department in our Beijing Headquarters. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the completion of all language projects.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire life-cycle of multiple translation or language related projects in a fast-paced environment
- Liaise with sales staff to clarify project parameters
- Manage the projects from beginning to end, working closely with language specialists
- Perform quality checks at various stages of process to ensure quality and accuracy (proofreading, final eye…)
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with contract translators and proofreaders globally
- Monitor and control projects status
- Prepare and maintain project documentation
- Presents regular reports to client, corporate office and peers on progress and forecast of project team’s work status
- Negotiate deadlines and rates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferably in linguistic/translation related studies)
- Fluent English proficiency
- Enthusiasm and energy to reach results-based targets
- 2 years project management experience or a bachelor degree in business or computer science related fields preferred
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a similar position in corporate environment
- Highly-developed computer skills (MS Office, Windows)
- Organizational and leadership skills
- Proven abilities in project planning, resource and risk management
- Problem-solving capabilities
- Quality and detail-oriented
- Strong team player in a multi-language/multi-cultural environment
- Self-starter and pro-active
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure
- Knowledge and Interest in continuing to learn and identify new technologies and new tools
- Proficiency in translation memory tools will be a strong advantage
- Work autonomously and manage to aggressive delivery schedules.
Employment Conditions:
- This is a full-time position in our Beijing Headquarters
- You will report directly to the Delivery Director
