Our West Chester Supply Site is a very dynamic and growing manufacturing site within the AstraZeneca Global Operations network and is located just north of Cincinnati, Ohio. The West Chester site encompasses Bulk API Microsphere manufacturing, Aseptic Pharmaceutical Formulation, multi-line Isolator/Barrier Vial and Syringe Filling, and specialty Packaging Operations for Vials and Auto-Injectors that supports growing franchises in Diabetes, Respiratory, and Vaccines. Our site is one of 30 production facilities in 18 countries with over 700 people collaborating to connect powerful medications to patients in more than 60 countries around the world. The Training Advisor creates and maintains training documents in the global learning management system (SABA) for use across the site. As a SABA administrator, this position conducts appropriate activities to ensure database integrity and regulatory compliance. This includes collaborating with leaders across the site and all operations to provide ongoing customer support, consultation and provide data in support of internal audits and regulatory agency (FDA, MHRA, Safety, Environment, WWAG). This position is also a link to the site learning community; including identification of trends, improvement opportunities and continuous education on systems.
What you’ll do:
- Assists in the content development and management of the role framework and role assignments in SABA, based on structure determined by Learning Management and Change Management process owners and area leaders.
- Develops content, role builds, role maintenance and courses by working collaboratively with leaders, facilitators and PET personnel to ensure that the required information is provided for complete and accurate information in the learning management system.
- Work with Learning resources to ensure the successful transfer of information from interfaced systems (Workday, Fieldglass and others as required).
- Assists in response to audits of LMS to monitor consistency and accuracy of roles, entries, re-certifications, and compliance against site goals, as well as address and escalate inconsistency – including assisting with LMS validation change controls and upgrade activities.
- Furnishes data in support of internal and regulatory agency audits. This includes providing effective answers to questions involving the learning process, learning effectiveness, learning management system and training documentation. This position assists in ensuring proper information is available in Learning Management documentation for all conducted audits.
- Assists in the preparation and generation of training materials such as participant guides, media, evaluations, job-aids, training checklists, etc.
Essential for the role:
- 3-5 years’ experience with a learning management system.
- Bachelors degree required (Organizational Management, Human Resources, Business Management, Education) or related field.
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems.
- Planning, organization and time-management skills are essential.
- Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision in a customer focused team environment.
- Strong people, written, and verbal-skills.
- High attention to detail needed to check complex work for accuracy and completeness.
- Ability to make good business decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities.
- Proficient with internet and intranet usage.
- Ability to effectively interact and collaborate with all levels of management and employees.
