Trainee – Transaction Banking Department  

Job purpose:

We are looking for a trainee to join our Transaction Banking Department 

As a part of a successful and growing international team, you will report to the Head of Transaction Banking Department. With a well established global network and strong reputation, this internship opportunity will allow you to develop a strong competences and knowledge in trade finance, supply chain finance and cash management activities.

The trainee will participate in the Bank’s business development of Transaction Banking Department as well as undertaking any other tasks assigned to him/her by the Bank.

Responsibilities would be, but not be limited to, the following:

·       Support the Relationship managers to elaborate some marketing activities with a target of corporate customers and FI customers

·       Participate of the preparation of the documents linked to the terms and conditions for the customers

·       Support the team in controlling the documents and cash flows related to the trade finance operations and support the implementation of post lending management to mitigate market risk or credit risk

·       Support for the updates and maintains of accurate business files

·       Support for the business line management of sub-branches

·       Handles other tasks assigned by the Head of Departmen

Profile (Technical Skills):

·       University degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Banking or Business Related Studies.

·       Speaking Chinese and written in plain Chinese is essential; and Excellent in English and; other languages will be an advantage.

·       Strong analytical and effective written and verbal communication skills.

·       Good understanding of the general, economic, political and business environment of the region.

·       Highly organized and detail orientated with a client focus.

·       Excellent in Excel, Word and PPT etc.
