Job Description

Job purpose:

 

We are looking for a trainee to join the European Asset Management Center of the Bank based in Luxembourg.

 

Within a small and growing team of 5 highly experienced professionals recently formed and dedicated to the Bank's investment fund management activity, you will report to the Admin. Director of the SICAV. This internship opportunity will allow you to develop a strong competence and knowledge in investment funds in the second most important investment fund center in the world: Luxembourg. The intern will participate in the development of the Bank's asset management activities and the tasks assigned will be diverse. Thus, the intern will assist the team in areas as varied as investment management, distribution and administration of the fund.

 

Responsibilities would be, but not be limited to, the following:

·       Assist the team in the day to day administration of the SICAV

·       Assist Investment managers in data analysis and reporting

·       Assist Investment managers in producing periodic asset management reports

·       Assist in handling ad-hoc asset management related requests from the Head office

·       Help on fee calculation and invoices issuance, coordinating payment and booking

·       Assists on fund’s administrative matters including invoice processing and contract handling

·       Assist the Head of Distribution in the update and delivery of data to service providers and other tasks  

·       Support the team on KYC and Due Diligence compliance requirements

·       Support the team on the preparation of audits and other reviews as requested

·       Provide assistance to the Admin. Director in the execution of daily operational activities.

Qualifications

Profile (Technical Skills):

·       University degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Banking or related studies

·       Good understanding and or experience in the funds or asset management industry

·       Investment management and accounting knowledge

·       Good at data handling and excellent command of Excel.  Python skills would be an advantage

·       Fluent in Chinese, excellent in both oral and written English. Any other language is an advantage
