Mission:

Perform tower supplier associated measurements / checks / inspections / documentation control so that the product quality requirements are met and appropriately documented in order to fulfill customer requirements.

Identifies number and severity of nonconformances discovered after release of single part or rather at final assembled unit.

Job Responsibilities:

1, Drive and Conduct the Process and Product qualification (PPQ / FAI) at suppliers / manufacturers premises including ad-hoc process audits.

2, Conduct project specific follow up meetings with supplier / manufacturer. Completes Quality related inbound material and semi-product checks, tests, and procedures, with involvement of internal and external parties. Stop the dispatch of tower products in case of non-compliance with desired quality requirements.

3, Applies specialized Quality systems, equipment, tools and methods. Develops advanced inspection techniques. Including evaluates tower manufacturers’ NDT inspectors that work on SGRE projects.

4, Initiates actions according to guidelines, when Quality does not match the standards. Supports or completes failure investigations in the course of claim management procedures, and not responsible but action requed to tower manufacturers.

5, Document inspection / approve component: prepare, check and approve quality documents (e. g. protocols, inspection plans, inspection reports). Prepare and monitor non-conformance reports / fault messages.

6, Proposes procedures improvements with QAE. Support QAE to create and follow up NCR/8D/DR/NCC etc in tower supplier.

7, Support SQE on tower material homologation, try-out etc.

8, Weekly reporting to TQ Manager and QAE regarding raised Quality issues related to process and product in order to highlight supplier base performance.

9, Conduct project specific follow up meetings with supplier / manufacturer

Qualification Required:

• Bachelor degree, majoring in Mechanical Engineering, or NDT major college graduated.
• Active NDT qualification (as per ASTM) as a level II-III inspector is required. NDT techniques required for the candidate: Visual, Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle and Ultrasonic Inspection (Ultrasonic mandatory).
• At least 3 years of professional experience, e.g. as Inspector or Industrial Mechanic - Welder - specialist in surface treatment.
• Familiar with using the general measurement tools and gauge in mechanical process.
• Good command in English is needed: Working and living in English environmet, conversation, reading and writting.
• Good command in PC tools, experience on SAP is preferred.
• Additional Education such training courses in Quality tools will be an asset.
• Submerged Arc Welding Processes on ASME code for NDE or on EN&DIN Quality Standards.
• Availability for international and local traveling >80% in working days
