Part-time University Tourism and hospitality Management Major Visiting Lecturer/Professor

1. Home University: Guizhou Normal University, Guiyang city, Guizhou Province, China
2. Teaching Major: Tourism and hospitality management.
3. Course Information is as below: The visiting lecturer or professor will be expected to teach following 2 to 3 courses at Tourism and hospitality management for 3 to 4 weeks during September to December in the coming fall semester .

Course Name& Class Hour (1 teaching hour = 45mins)
①　Overview of tourism source countries --- 32 teaching hours-- 2022 cohort
②　Liquor Knowledge and Management (Gastronomy)---16 teaching hours---2023 cohort
③　Cross-cultural Communication ---16 teaching hours---2023 cohort
④　Exhibition Management ---48 teaching hours ---2022 cohort
⑤　World Geography--- 48 teaching hours---2023 cohort


Job Details:
1.Mode of Instruction: Onsite
2.Materials and PPT : The teacher is expected to recommend and choose related textbooks, materials ,design PPT ,quiz, exams etc for chosen courses ...
3.Time Duration: 3 to 4 weeks during Sep 2024 - Dec, 2024 (Flexible, can be discussed )
4.Teaching Load: 16 to 20 teaching hours/week
5.Teaching Payment: 100 to 150 dollars per class hour (tax included) ,depending on teacher’s qualification .
6.The lecturer will be living in the accommodation arranged by the University during your stay at Guizhou Normal University.
7.One round-trip tickets will be provided ( only for economics class )
8.Visa type : F visa ( legal type for short term academic exchange purpose )

Expectations for Qualified Candidates:
①　European and American candidates will be considered first .
②　Qualified candidates should have at least a Master’s Degree, majoring in Tourism and hospitality management related .
③　Qualified candidates should have at least 2-3 years of experience in education or related subject and course teaching .
④　Candidates who can teach multiple courses will be preferred
⑤　Candidates needs to guarantee 3 to 4 weeks of teaching time at the university until courses finished .
