As a Testing & Laboratory Specialist you will be responsible for creating test plan for New Product development (NPD) and design optimization based on products and application standards, cooperate with test labs to implement the internal and external type test, document the test result and push the optimization, test capacity improvement, drive lab process optimization and digitalization, in Electrification Business Area in Beijing, China.

Reporting to the Quality/Continuous Improvement Manager, you will Implement the test in internal or external lab and document the test result.

Your responsibilities

• Creating the verification test plan for New Product development (NPD) and design optimization based on product, application standards and customer requirement
• Implementing the test in internal or external lab and document the test result
• Managing the whole test process, discussing the test plan and test result with design engineer and proposing the product optimization, pushing the design improvement
• Maintaining the test equipment and capacity improvement. Improving the Testing fixture/jigs design and efficiency
• Creating the product audit test plan and perform the test, highlighting the non-conformity, and pushing the improvement
• Setting up test instruction and training to the tester, improve the testing competence, efficiency and quality
• Studying, analyzing and sharing the product, application and testing standard/regulation, knowledge management
• Driving lab process optimization and digitalization

Your background

• 8 years or above experience in lab testing or product development
• Sound knowledge in low voltage system, testing equipment and related standards
• Familiar with the test procedure and method, experience in CNAS lab as preferred
• Familiar with quality analysis tools, like FMEA, DOE etc.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiar with Minitab or Power BI as preferred
• Fluency in English, both written and oral
