Major Duties:
The appointee is expected to assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in the planning, development and co-ordination of research activities and daily operations of the project. He/she will be required to establish a database for the project, organise workshops, perform literature review and other research duties as assigned by the PI.

Requirements:
Applicants should have a recognised degree, preferably with Master’s degree or PhD, in Textile Technology, Design or related fields, with relevant work experience. Good organisation and interpersonal skills will be an advantage.

Notes:
(1) Candidates may be appointed on term or temporary employment.
(2) The post is in the rank of Senior Research Assistant or Research Assistant I.
(3) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, shifts and on Saturdays.
(4) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
