The Role
In the role Tender & Contract Specialist you will be responsible for developing and coordinating internal and external processes, drive the pre-tender process and tenders from customers - including third party management and administrative tasks to support the sales process. This is a temporary contract position estimated to run until the end of 2021. We are looking for someone to join us in this role as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
Develop and co-ordinate internal and external processes, expectations, and behaviors to drive the pre-tender process and tenders from customers
Responsible for driving the tender preparation and submission process and ensuring all needed material and information is collected and formatted in time for submission
Responsible for translating information into local language when needed
Ensure the seamless and effective transition from tenders to contracts and to enhance customer satisfaction by enabling timely Implementation and minimal time to routine expected billing - in close cooperation with commercial
Monitor and improve the performance of both customer and third-party supplier contracts to enhance the customer experience (analyze business performance versus contract commitment)
Be point of contact for customers for communication and clarification
Administrate customer and third-party contracts to reflect current practice/status with appropriate documentation. Creating the Nordic supplier database to cover all suppliers
Co-ordinate and support third party provision through contracts with the project manager and order entry
Support local sales force with further administrative tasks
Success in this role is measured by Area Europe sales, margin and EP goals, agreed win rate and retention rate, Timeliness and quality of submitted tenders, performance level achievement for customer contracts and planned and conducted contract reviews for customers and third parties.
Requirements
Minimum of 2-3 years track record in the diagnostic or medical devices industry with an emphasis on managing tenders and contracts and supporting the sales organization with administrative tasks
Strong communication skills
Work experience in laboratory is advantageous
Must be team orientated, analytical, highly organized
Candidates must be fluent in local language and English, additional languages are advantageous
