Job Description
Established by the Hong Kong Government in 1989, OUHK today has developed into a young, dynamic, full-fledged university. We began offering full-time face-to-face programmes since 2001 and currently have about 10,000 full-time and 9,000 part-time students in the five Schools at the OUHK with about 220 programmes of studies. In addition, there are about 2,000 full-time/part-time students studying in LiPACE.

[For research project: Investigating Impacts of Problem Ownership and Ascription of Responsibility on Sustainable Consumption Behaviour (R6272)]
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:
- Conducting interviews in the form of focus groups;;
- Transcribing recordings of interviews;
- Administering surveys;
- Compiling data and research findings; and
- Other areas related to the research project.
Requirements
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
- A degree holder or above;
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese);
- Good mastery of MS Office;
- A strong background in Statistics will be an advantage.
Compensation Package
Successful candidate will be appointed on a full-time fixed term contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions, if applicable. Appointment will be made starting from mid-September 2019 for 6 months. Contract renewal thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
