Job Description
Established by the Hong Kong Government in 1989, OUHK today has developed into a young, dynamic, full-fledged university. We began offering full-time face-to-face programmes since 2001 and currently have about 10,000 full-time and 9,000 part-time students in the five Schools at the OUHK with about 220 programmes of studies. In addition, there are about 2,000 full-time/part-time students studying in LiPACE.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:
- assisting in research projects related to early childhood education;
- conducting phone follow-ups, fieldwork, data entry and analysis;
- coordinating research projects; and
- performing general administrative, operational, and any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
- a recognized Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Policy Studies, Sociology or other related disciplines;
- excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese);
- good research skills;
- the ability to multitask, work collaboratively and independently;
- familiarity with MS Office applications (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and SPSS;
- willingness to take initiative in assisting teammates; and
- relevant research or project administration experience will be an advantage.

Compensation Package
Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary full-time/part-time 6-month contract. Contract renewal is subject to mutual agreement. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
