Traders Hotels is the upscale business hotel brand within the Shangri-La Group. We are currently re-investing in rebuilding the brand and its business model to build a larger portfolio, with an aim to make it scalable, replicable and profitable with a focus on emerging markets. A core foundation of the brand will be around technology and application of it across the entire new business model.

As a Technology Manager, we rely on you to:

• Lead the technology vertical for the Traders Hotels brand start up team
• Oversee all technical aspects and assist in rapid, scalable, replicable growth
• Lead the creation of the technology strategy, blueprint and roadmap for the brand
• Lead the software evaluation, selection and roll out in collaboration with technology team
• Perform duties and special projects from a technology perspective to help launch the brand
• Interact with stakeholders to support software creation, releases, resolve problems
  

We are looking for someone who:

• Is technically competent on areas across the spectrum - IOT, apps, infrastructure, data, optimization, digital, and other computing communication infrastructure.
• Familiar with new age industry or has experience in technology heavy start up
• 5+ years field or technology experience in technology environment; preferably with E-commerce platform, hospitality and/or catering O2O online platform background
• Is hungry for creation with a blue-sky mindset
• Can work collaboratively with a business solution mindset and not be just technically driven
• Has experience as product manager in technology company
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin as the individual will collaborate closely with our Technology Development Centre in Beijing
• Willing to travel, approximate 25% travelling required
