The Development and Alumni Office is looking for a specialist to support and maintain effective and efficient operation of the office. Duties include:

• Responsible for the system/database development and in-house application and making IT-related recommendations to the supervisors and management.
• Develop and make recommendations on new strategies and solutions to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve client satisfaction in the area of IT.
• Perform hardware and software installation and maintenance and technical support to internal users;
• Maintain existing databases and systems, and administer changes to user interface;
• Maintain the websites, webpages, e-marketing and the e-platform for events.

Applicants should have a Diploma or above in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines, preferably with a Bachelor’s degree. The idea candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant experience and with knowledge of and experience in database development and management, i.e. SalesForce. He/She should have good skills in various operating system environments, including Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, etc; and experience in building web applications using Java/J2EE, PHP, JavaScript; and E-marketing application i.e. Radica. Applicants should have good interpersonal and communication skills, and be a good team player. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
