Job Tasks:

• Review client manuals & design packages, training factory technician to well understand client’s requirement.

  
  

• Familiar with international quality standards and requirements of US and European clients.

  
  

• Strong technical knowledge in different apparel items, especial woven & cut sewn knit item.

  
  

• Experience in children’s product safety requirements both regulatory and non-regulatory.

  
  

• Ability to train factory technician to understand oversea client technical and fit requirement and enhance their technical level.

  
  

• Strong communication skills and have the ability to interact with others like vendors, factories, clients and merchandising teams.

  
  

• Make sure the pattern, fitting, size, appearance and other specifications of samples are adhered to clients’ requirements before sending out for client approval.

  
  

• Work with factory technical staff to solve technical problems and give advice for corrective and preventive action.

  
  

• Work with merchandisers in sample development; prescreen information prior to sample execution.

  
  

• Review samples for correct construction, specification, quality and product safety before sent to clients.

  
  

• Communicate with client / Merchandising team / factories for sampling, fitting and manufacturing matters.

  
  

• Attend Pre-production /Risk Assessment meetings and provide recommendation. Attend video conference with client.

  
  

• Support Global team on any technical projects with client’s initiative on local approval.

  
  

• Technical support to Global production, travel to overseas factories for technical supporting.

Key Accountabilities:

• Over 5 years technical Institute or polytechnic graduate in textile / clothing is preferred.

  
  

• Worked in manufacturing environment is a plus.

  
  

• Communicate sample findings and problem solving with clients.

  
  

• Good pattern knowledge, and ability to adjust pattern according to client fit comment.

  
  

• Good command of English.

  
  

• Proactive and initiative problem solver.
