Position: Technician

Department: Nutrition and Bioscience, Research & Development

Report to: Group Manager and Scientist, Culture Development

Location: Shanghai


Responsibilities:

  • Perform experiments that encompass basic aspects of microbiology and food science, with em-phasis in the application of these disciplines towards lactic acid bacteria.
  • Responsible for conducting technical work to investigate diverse food lactic acid bacteria.
  • Work in a laboratory within a dynamic and international team.


Requirements:

  • MS degree or BS degree with more than 4 years related working experience.
  • Trained in microbiology, food science or a related field, and with practical lab experience.
  • Experience in bacteria isolation and cultivation.
  • Knowledge of food fermentation, especially dairy, is a plus.
  • Skills/experience in molecular biology, chemical analysis or physical analysis is desired.
  • Ability to perform multi-task projects to a successful result.
  • Team spirit is a must.
  • Capable of speaking, reading and writing in English.
