Department Description

The Technical Information Center (TIC) is a team within the Global Sales and Marketing (GSM) organization at NXP that provides Sales, Commercial and Design support to customers around the world in all of the technologies and architectures NXP offers. Our goal is to provide knowledge about how NXP products, solutions, and services can help customers get their applications to market faster. The TSR representative will work cooperatively with sales account managers, FAE's, distributors and other NXP organizations to create new customers and opportunities and grow existing business while providing world-class customer service. We are looking for Technical Sales Specialists for our Shanghai China office.

  • Provide Customer support for sales, marketing, and technical questions via phone, email and web chat covering the entire NXP Product portfolio
  • Articulate NXP's solutions and value proposition that meet customer's needs
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations and proactively recommend products, solutions, and services needed to develop their end user applications.
  • Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications
  • In a limited manner, mainly for backup of the TSR team:
  • Qualify and follow up on lead contacts from web and marketing events.
  • Collaborate with field sales and distributors to increase market share and identify new accounts
  • Utilize CRM and Marketing Campaign systems to track and manage leads through the sales process
  • Technical Degree required, BS in Electrical Engineering Preferred Knowledge and/or design experience with MCU and Communication (varying) processors
  • Experience in industrial, automotive, networking, and communication segments is a plus
  • Excellent selling and communication skills
  • Expertise in English (written & spoken) is a must
  • Familiarity with CRM and Opportunity Management systems and processes is a plus
  • Great attitude, collaborative, proactive, self-learning and team player attitude
