As a Technical Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing proactive technical support based on customer requirements or business strategy to achieve both market competitiveness and service business development, in Electrification Business Area in Xiamen, China.
Reporting to the Sales Support Manager, you will calculate costing and figure out pricing during the tender stage.
Your responsibilities
- Proactive communicate with customer and drive business development through technical support. focus on Digital service, Engineering & Consulting etc.
- Review customer technical request propose ABB solution and configuration.
- Clarify, comment or deviate customer requirement and support sales support to discuss with customer and optimize proposal/configuration.
- Support technical negotiation and customer seminar.
- Business analysis and drive change, such as performance, competitor, segment etc.
Your background
- 5 years of experience in Engineering/Product management in the Electric Power Industry is preferred.
- Self -motivation and good time management, able to manage the tender timetable
- Systematic thinking and result driven.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, team work and strong communication skills
- A Bachelor’s degree or above, Major in Electric & Automation related.
- Familiar with the electrical power system and switchgear
- Sound knowledge of MS office tools, CAD
- Fluency in oral and written English
