Job Posting Details

The appointee will be responsible for:

1. Performing daily operation of the cleanroom, chemical handling, installation/maintenance of the processing equipment and facilities, and execution of preventive maintenance programs;
2. Undertaking the process development of fabrication module;
3. Assisting his/her supervisor to arrange equipment-training schedules, standardizing training materials and conducting training for NFF users on equipment operation; as well as conducting undergraduate/postgraduate course laboratory sessions;
4. Assisting his/her supervisor to maintain the inventory of spare parts and consumables;
5. Following the University’s waste-disposal regulations to deal with different kinds of waste treatments; and
6. Performing any other ad-hoc duties as requested by supervisors.

Applicants should have a relevant degree or a relevant higher diploma/higher certificate with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience working with electronics/processing control equipment. Knowledge in electrical and mechanical services, laboratory safety and/or cleanroom environment is a plus, but not necessary. (Duration: 1 year)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
