Client Profile & Background:

Our client acts as a supplier of development, manufacturing technology services with an ODM Platform strategy, implementing a single solution approach. It has a customer project-specific focus and covers all steps from conception to after sales. Main applications are sensors, interface, power and lighting for various industries. In order to continuously grow their business in China, our client is looking for a well-organized and seasoned:

Technical Manager/ Sr. Tech Engineer (TBD), based in Tianjin

General responsibilities:

• Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education to new and existing customers.
• Working on after-sales support services and providing technical back-up as required.
• Drafting and reviewing specifications of modules together with clients (technical communication).
• Establishing internal engineering documents such as, BOM, Routing, and Technical Instructions etc.
• Designing, implementing, testing and documenting hardware together with HQs collaboratively.
• Developing tools for testing.
• Helping with the production of the developed products.
• Troubleshooting.
• Other duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above in Electronic Engineering or equivalents.
• 5+ years’ hands-on experience in Automotive EMS industry, familiar with SMT, THT, COB, Die-bonding and Wire-bonding.
• Good in written and verbal English is a must.
• Strong knowledge in analog/digital circuit design/layout/simulation, proficient in the following design tools of DX-Design, Altium Designer, Multisim and LTSpice.
• Knowledge in EMI/EMC is a must.
• Knowledge in Embedded system, I/O-module, Signal-processing, Power-module is a plus.
• Knowledge in Thermal Simulation is a plus.
• Knowledge in Project Management is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), MS Project, SharePoint.
• Strong communication skill and excellent teamwork spirit.
