POSITION AIM: As a member of the China Product Performance team you will be responsible to interpret for global and regional experts when visiting PIC customers and industry partners, translating technical material, and organizing technical communication from the team. This position requires professional translation background, rich interpreting experience, and excellent organization skills to support and position PIC product performance within a sophisticated marketplace.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

English Interpretation Certificate required.

Minimum of 2 years interpreting experience.

2-year experience in swine industry/agriculture preferred.

Strong writing skills in both English and Chinese.

Excellent interpersonal and technical communication skills.

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Travel required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible to facilitate good communication when global and regional experts are visiting PIC customers and industry partners.

Responsible to interpret technical presentations given at industry conferences and meetings.

Responsible to translate material needed to communicate PIC’s product performance with PIC customers and industry partners.

Responsible to organize technical communication produced by the Asia Product Performance Team.

Responsible to translate material on corporate website and Wechat platform.

Strictly follow the interpreter code of ethics.

Remain current in area of responsibility through:

• Studying the communications produced by the global Product Performance Team
• Integrating into internal technical meetings, training, activities, etc.

Hold confidential all product and program proprietary knowledge.
