Description
Recognized as an external thought leader within a strategic function or discipline. Influences the strategy to address internal or external business and regulatory issues. Proactively identifies and solves the most complex problems that impact the management and direction of the business. May participate in the development of the product or business strategy. Leads multidisciplinary projects or initiatives. Progression to this level is typically restricted on the basis of individual capabilities and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1.Provides leadership and direction through managers for providing perspective of customer process and device roadmaps (N to N+2) for a broad function area. Recognized as a technology expert: N, N+1, N+2
2.Identifies inflections, threats and opportunities for share and TAM growth. Determines segmentation & requirements. Delivers a detailed competitive analysis. Develops a winning product/ business strategy
3.Develops and manages relationships with technical buyers. Improves customer(s) preference to engage Applied on technical problems
4.Manages local technical resources and works closely with BU teams to ensure high installed base performance and customer(s) satisfaction
5.Owns and manages TRMs and technical engagement programs with customer(s)
6.Protects customer(s) IP, protects Applied IP, gathers competitive intelligence
7.Discovers customer(s) HVPs, understands options and influences the customer’s technical choices. Designs alternative technology solutions
and improves customer(s) preference to engage Applied on technical problems
8.For TD Process Integration: identifies cross-BU opportunities and DPY HVP
