Key responsibilities:
(1) Understand Customer (including OEM customers and after-sales customers) technical and quality requirement and transit those requirements internally.
(2) Define the technical development plan and evaluate the plan implementation result
(3) Review the quality system regularly and implement the corrective measures when it’s necessary
(4) Assign tasks to subordinate engineers with balancing workload, review and evaluate result delivered with a measured way
(5) Responsible for prototype making and to be sure the prototypes delivered with 100% matched specification defined. Continually improve the design with the customer.
(6) Define the internal technical standards and maintain them in a clear way
(7) Provide the technical support to quality and purchase. Solving the production problems related to technical points
(8) Investigate the quality claims and suggest the corrective measures.
(9) Give the proper training or require for outside training to improve the development knowledge and skill of all of engineers in the departments
Requirement:
(1) Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree on Mechanical, Engineering
(2) Professional Experience: Knowledge of shock absorber products and at least 5 years’ development of shock absorbers
(3) Familiar with quality system ISO and TS 16949
(4) Knowledge - Auto-CAD, Software MS Office, ERP Navision
(5) Fluent in English both writing and spoken
(6) Knowledge of shock absorber products
(7) Personal Profile:
- Good communication with outside and internally
- Very good accountability requested
- Very good computer skill to improve work efficiency and reduce the workload
- A good mentor to developing engineers and others
