The appointee is expected to teach lectures and lab courses in the areas of environmental monitoring and environmental risk assessment at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supervise student projects, develop co-curricular activities, and take part in administrative duties of the Department.
Applicants should have a PhD in environmental science, marine science or a closely related discipline, and a track record in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate level courses. Priority will be given to applicants with solid experience in field and lab instrumentation and geographic information systems. Demonstrated capabilities in research are highly desirable but not a must. (Duration: 2 years)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
