THE JOB

Reporting to the Technical Support Officer, the Technical Support Supervisor will be responsible for the following duties:

• Provide day-to-day frontline end-user support;

• Assist in installation and maintenance of IT equipment and software;
• Maintain the smooth operation of the networking system and IT infrastructure;
• Test and evaluate IT hardware and software;
• Setup computer, audio and visual equipment in various functions such as seminars, training courses and sport events held in the HKSIL;
• Keep tracking IT assets with inventory control on record keeping, maintenance and related documentation;
• Provide end-user training and technical support; and
• To perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by senior staff.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates should possess a diploma in information technology or a relevant discipline;

• A minimum of 2 years’ relevant working experience;
• Good knowledge in PC, tablet and network trouble shooting;
• Exposure in Windows Server and network administration is preferable; and
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. Ability to speak Putonghua is a definite advantage.
