As a Senior Environmental engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing processes and be able to understand the effluent discharge and be consulted and able to propose the appropriate post process tools setup needed to ensure a safe and environmentally friendly configuration and setup. You will also be responsible for working with Intel Corp. EHS team and other Intel parties in identification and development of environmental emission control to ensure the compliance against local regulation and permitting requirement.
Responsibilities and Tasks
？ Own the process for setting fab process environmental targets.
？ Understand potential impact of technologies developed in TD (Technology development) before transfer through collaboration with HVM (High volume manufacturing) owners of site environmental permits and constraints.
？ Assume ownership of environmental models from TD upon completion of model development.
？ Deliver appropriate and validated environmental models as part of TD process transfer.
？ Partner with first HVM on validation testing after transfer.
？ Translate environmental impacts into requirements for new processes in collaboration with TD.
？ Coordinate with HVM on technology transfer of environmental deliverables.
？ Review and approve all chemical use requests in support of TD process development activities from environmental perspective. Facilitate the process to assess potential environmental impacts of requested chemical use.
？ Partner with industry associations to influence EHS regulations & standards that may impact technology development and building/tool design.
？ Collaborate with key external groups (universities, industry associations, research consortiums) to drive EHS technology solutions for high volume manufacturing process.

Qualifications

？ ？ Master degree on Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other EHS related degrees.
？ 5+ years working experience in semiconductor industry. Technology development EHS experience is preferred.
？ Deep regulatory experience with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other regulatory standards applicable to semiconductor manufacturing.
？ Certified Safety Professional / Certified Industrial Hygienist designation is desired.
？ Excellent teamwork and strong trusting leadership skills, ability to effectively interface with global and site all level stakeholders. Proven experience in leadership of Cross Site Teams.
？ Excellent communication verbal, written & presentation skills.
？ Demonstrated leadership and project management experience preferred
？ Creative and innovative thinker with an ability to translate complex ideas and metrics into simple, actionable recommendations.
