Mission & Main Tasks:

Market- and regional specific requirements and use cases on Highly Automated Driving Systems and functions are locally developed by Audi China R&D.

Mission is to define full stack Self Driving Systems, influence concepts and realize leading self-driving technology.

Job Duties:

• Systems analysis and design activities including system architecture and interfaces based on market specific requirements and use cases
• Complete systems designs, including mechanical, electrical and software subsystems
• Coordinate simultaneous development of subsystems
• Close cooperation with domain experts and Function owners within Volkswagen Group worldwide
• Selection and steering of relevant local partners

Qualifications:

Education:

• PhD or Master degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a comparable degree program

Professional skills:

• Strong experience designing system architecture
• Profound knowledge in Self Driving domains (e.g. Perception, Environment Model, Decision Making, …)
• Ability to evaluate and influence AI-based algorithm development
• Project management
