Basic Function / General Description:

Architect and develop elevator layouts and automated layout tools for high quality, cost leading high rise and super high rise elevators. Develop, evaluate and continuously improve standard work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop layout alternatives of high quality, cost leading elevators using CREO, AutoCAD.

• Deliver system layouts in a flexible and reusable model product framework.

• Develop layout tool to generate typical and final layout drawings including derived layout specifying parameters.

• Develop CREO 3D elevator model. Modify and simplify available models.

• Ensure that layouts meet the varied code requirements around the world.

• Develop elevator building information modeling (BIM).

• Develop various user interfaces for automation tools using VBA or VB.net.

• Interpret, translate, organize and test layout data for access through the e-logistics, architect assistant etc.

• Conduct product design quality and development technical reviews.

• Analyze the high rise layout process and turnbacks and implement improvements.

• Provide layout engineering support to contract engineering.

Basic Qualifications, Work Experience & Skills Requirements:

• ICAD skills, especially CREO modeling experience, are essential.

• Experience in Microsoft Visual basic application (VBA) is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills are required.

• Excellent ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with remote team members, including in American & European zones, is essential.

• Creative, open minded, critical thinker, hardworking and energetic with good teamwork ethic.
