System Analyst

Job Description
Overview:

iSoftStone is looking for a Systems Analyst to join the Worldwide Services department in our Beijing Headquarters. You will focus on overseeing data flow in our systems, resolving data integrity, validity and quality issues as they arise. You will work closely with our delivery teams to ensure data stability and quality and with our Process and Software teams to help control processes and set-up best practices. This is a great opportunity to get involved in a dynamic, fast-moving, disruptive technology environment.

Responsibilities:

- Work with the Process Excellence team and other internal staff to ensure data integrity, including assisting with data import, cleaning, transforming, validating and/or modelling
- Manage any data handling requests, including data migration and correction
- Monitor system dashboards for outliers and unexpected results
- Utilize BI skillsets including SQL and Tableau
- Forecast data risks and minimize handling errors
- Liaise extensively with internal staff to determine their data needs
- Analyze needs based on existing systems and define system changes with the Software R&D team
- Support users on change control and provide training as necessary to ensure quality
- Testing, debugging, troubleshooting and routine support as needed


Qualifications:

- BSc. in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering or similar
- 2 years of related experience preferred
- Experience with data management, strong data analysis and statistical skills
- Proficiency in DBA related work for MS SQL2008/2012
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries
- Working English proficiency: it is important that you can understand English at a working level in all three areas, written, verbal and listening, however we are not seeking a native speaker, and accent is no problem
- Excellent interpersonal skills to develop working relationships with a range of stakeholders especially for tasks such as quality control
- Quality focused; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate
- Ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously
- Self-starter, with a strong eye for detail
- Enthusiasm to work in a global, fast-moving team
