Position Summary

Reporting to the Senior Sustainability Manager, the Sustainability Manager will assist in managing the BEA Group’s environmental, social, and governance (“ESG”) initiatives and reporting. 

Responsibilities

• To liaise with members of BEA’s Corporate Social Responsibility Working Group and others on a wide range of ESG initiatives.
• To coordinate Group-wide data collection and content development for the annual ESG report and manage report design and production.
• To work closely with Group members to gather information for ESG disclosure exercises.
• To handle various financial and administrative duties including management of the team’s budget, records, and equipment.

Requirements

• University graduate in Communications, Social Sciences, or related discipline.
• A minimum of 6 years’ working experience in corporate sustainability, environmental management, research, or related field gained from a sizable organisation, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Well-rounded with a solid understanding of ESG, sustainability, community investment, and report development.
• Ability to interpret and transform data/facts/figures into useful management information.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and multi-tasking skills.
• Good attention to detail and able to work under pressure according to deadlines.
• Excellent PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese including Cantonese and Putonghua.
