About the Job:

To contribute to the positioning of the IKEA brand as a unique, meaningful, trusted and leading company through our approach in defining, implementing, and verifying sustainability goals and requirements.
To lead, steer and support the business by identifying opportunities and adequately mitigating risks to overall improve the level of compliance and efficiency

About the Assignment:

Support the development of the annual sustainability compliance plan in cooperation with stakeholders, alongside identified global and local priorities
2. Plan and perform sustainability compliance verification activities:
o IWAY audits at suppliers and service providers to the IKEA Group, in accordance with relevant Working Methods
o Sustainability compliance verification activities within the IKEA Group
3. Responsible to gather and analyse information and facts to draw conclusions about (non) compliances, using relevant audit techniques
4. Responsible for root cause analysis of findings and for creating understanding to achieve compliance
5. Responsible for follow up of verification activities
6. Responsible for final approval of corrective action implementation for review activities within scope of responsibility (IWAY)
7. Responsible for audit reporting, registration, and verification in relevant IKEA systems
8. Contribute to the sharing of good sustainability business practices to contribute to business development, as well as the positioning of IKEA as a leading and trusted company

About YOU:

Excellent English language skills, oral and written
? The ability to work independently and act as an ambassador of IKEA values and role-model for fact based business leadership
? The ability to plan effectively, influence others, inspire and clarify topics to a wide variety of stakeholders
? Approval to perform sustainability compliance verification activities in line with the specified criteria in working methods (e.g. Sustainability Compliance Auditor Working Method)
? Capability to perform analysis and draw fact-based conclusions to support business decisions
? The ability to carefully document conclusions and report findings of compliance review activities
? The ability to use required interview and auditing techniques
? The strength to take independent action and decision
? The ability to contribute to sustainability projects
