Objective of Job:

• Work as release engineer role, lead semi corner system/component development for local vehicle program.

• Communication with engineering team to hand over donor vehicle design/validation information. Seeking for global team support during development if necessary.

• Supplier management for design and validation completion in respect of the program development timing.

• Codep Maintenance for assigned vehicle program.

• TeamCenter Maintenance for assigned vehicle program.

• Work with Manufacturing and Quality team to cover engineering responsible in cross functional area.

• Problem solving during vehicle development.

Qualification:

General Skills

• Be able to communicate in written and spoken English with Europe team

• Good general computer skills inc. MS office suite

Functionality Skills and Technical skills

• Familiar with Semi-corner components (shock/spring/jounce bumper/isolator/top mount, etc.).

• Familiar with design, manufacturing, and testing of springs, especially spring selection principles. Focus on key product characteristics and dimensions.

• Familiar with shock tuning and validation. Understand shock characteristics impact to the vehicle suspension performance.

• Skills in managing system/component development process, monitoring program timing, validation, coordination among functional groups both internal and external. Experience in releasing chassis parts for new programs, managing Bill of Material and change process.

• Familiar with engineering process such as DFMEA, DVP/R, APQP, etc.

• Familiar with problem solving process (8D or other). Experience in problem analysis and solving of suspension systems / components.

Mgt and Leadership Skills

• New products development skills

• Good communication and presentation skills

• Be able to make normal day by day technical decisions independently

• Knowledge about the 'western' business style preferred

• Willing to take the lead and challenge others to deliver

Experience and education

• Experience in suspension simulation, design and verification.

• More than 5 year working experience.

• Bachelor or above in Vehicle Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
