Day to Day Responsibilities:
Ongoing Tasks
Develop supply plan with regular supply gap review and execute inventory planning, and optimizing overall finished goods inventory to support Asia business
Engaged on S&OP process and plant supply review weekly and monthly
Identify potential (high) business impact issues and clearly communicate the issue to the management with solutions and action plan
Supply response in time to demand spikes, production shortages, transitions, etc. for required service and consistent delivery
Regular review inventory planning alerts and optimize inventory plan
Document and implement standard procedures in QMS, and able to initiate and lead projects to improve with PEx tools
Be an active member of cross-functional teams focused on process improvement, cost reduction and supply chain issue resolution
Update KPIs on a regular level, and take the initiative with data analysis to identify opportunities and improve
Regular SLOB review and minimize inventory write-off
Finished goods replenishment and procurement including MSR / PO placement, etc.
Effectively communicate with stakeholders within Corning and work intensively with other departments (e.g. customer service, logistics, division planning)

Education & Experience:
Required
Bachelor degree or above in supply chain, economics, business administration of equivalent
Minimum of 5 - 7 years’ related experience in planning role in manufacturing or distribution
Work experience in multinational matrix environment.
Required Skills:
Good verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English.
Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and related Microsoft office software
Excellent analytical skills
Planning process knowledge correlating with supply chain processes and customer satisfaction
Good project management skills
Strong understanding of planning processes, technologies, methods, etc.
Excellent change management skills and ability to understand the impact of change
Ability to set and communicate priorities and work in a dynamic business environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills – able to interface with customers at all levels and internal colleagues
Strong listening skills
Rigorous, detail oriented, strong follow up skills, and able to work under pressure
