As a Supply Chain IT Software Consultant you have one goal: to provide the customers with innovative supply chain solutions that work based on OM Partners IT Solution.

You will become a reliable partner of the customer for the entire project lifecycle. You will support presales, solution building and implementation activities and need to have basic understanding with Visual Basic (VB) Coding.

As a Technical Consultant you take care of the more technical part of solutions including but not limited to integration issues and customised algorithms etc.

You will visit our customers on a regular basis, about 30% of your time. You start with their challenging planning needs. You will design a prototype, develop the model and optimise your solution based on customer ERP system. At all times you will work in close collaboration with your colleagues working on the same projects. You will implement the planning and scheduling solution with our planning tools. You will validate it with the customer's project team. Finally, you will train the customers in the use of their new advanced planning solution. After a project implementation you will also support the customer, working together with the customer services team in Belgium. Involvement in business development activities can also be part of your job.

You need to have a strong affinity for IT and technical domain, basic programming skills are required, familiarity with VB Coding and SQL Database will be an advantage. Knowledge about mathematical modelling is a plus, but not mandatory.

You have a Master's degree, ideally with a focus on Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Production, Operations Research or Logistics. Experience in one of our target industries (semi process or mill products) is an advantage. Ideally, you have at least 2 years of working experience in the Asia-Pacific region, preferably in China.

You are expected to have strong background on ERP related filed ideally with focus on SAP with solid knowledge of PP and MM modules.

You are fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English and enjoy working in a multi-national customer-driven environment. Knowledge of any other additional language such as German, Spanish, French or Dutch is a plus.

You are creative and eager to learn, and you can work autonomously. You are passionate about what you do, fun to work with and a great team player.
