Job Description

The Supply Chain Industrial Engineer is responsible for providing logistics engineering support and supply chain optimization strategies. This position performs process improvements, organizing data, analyzing results, and interacting with project teams. The Supply Chain Industrial Engineer is responsible for directing and monitoring operation performance and recommendations for improvements. 

This person will work with Senior Manager maintaining every patient-every-time supply chain performance. Some other tasks include:

  • Modeling demand variability:  Planning demand vs supply, inventory cycle changes
  • Performance metrics:  Develop and manage performance dashboards to report on Distribution Performance, Forecast Accuracy, & Inventory value.
  • Work with distribution group in optimizing inventory plan of US distribution centers.
  • Work with analytics group on forecast scenarios & reporting for commercial products.
  • Perform basic SAP queries in support of operations performance.

Basic Qualifications:

Master’s degree

OR

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of supply chain, engineering, or related experience

OR

Associate’s degree and 6 years of supply chain, engineering, or related experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of supply chain, engineering, or related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to apply engineering principles, concepts, and theories to applications and problems.
  • Under supervision/guidance, ability to analyze problems, develop and propose engineering solutions in a scientific manner.  
  • Able to work in a team environment, collaborate with others on projects and activities, establish relationships across multiple functions, and be accountable for completion of milestones and commitments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Must be able to utilize advance features of Microsoft Excel to conduct data analysis and cross compare various reports.
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • Basic understanding of regulatory requirements in a cGMP manufacturing /Healthcare environment. 
  • Hands-on experience with logistics and supply chain; cold chain.
  • Financial accounting experience
