This is your opportunity to join the Manufacturing Engineering team as a full time Intern for 6 months, where you will gain industry exposure through an exciting project to establish techniques to design, develop and improve the products, processes and components that make us world leaders. You will be supported and encouraged to expand your skills and knowledge every step of the way.

As an Intern, you will:

apply knowledge of materials science to collaborate and provide consulting to the R&D, procurement and manufacturing engineering departments, with data in the research, specification, sourcing and qualification of materials used in the design and production of Agilent products, identify and qualify alternative materials when needed, work with suppliers to clarify specifications to meet quality, cost and manufacturability goals,

You will also have the opportunity to:

actively participate in new product introduction, including influencing the design of the product to ensure manufacturability and conformance with the global supply chain, enabling prototyping while in the R&D lab, testing the reliability of prototypes and managing the transition into production, utilise your statistical mind-set to extract data to implement and execute action plans in the process, potentially collaborate in redesigning products or components to meet cost objectives, component technology obsolescence and customer requirements. support implementing the transition of products and manufacturing processes from prototype to full production and through the entire life cycle of the product. Learn how to partner with: procurement and technical services to improve/sustain products and processes, third party vendors and/or collaborators or suppliers to meet contract specified deliverables, performance or business objectives
